Dentist Warns People Against Ignoring the Effects of Teeth Sensitivity

It is estimated that around 40 million adults in America experience teeth sensitivity at some point in their lives, but while this condition is almost common, the discomfort isn’t. People with sensitive teeth often find it hard to eat or drink a large number of items; even brushing one’s teeth can become a painful activity. It is important that people with teeth sensitivity immediately consult a dentist to solve the root cause as quickly as possible. Here are some of the reasons why teeth sensitivity happens: • Whitening Products – Some people react badly to whitening toothpaste and mouthwash, especially those that contain strong chemicals. Try switching your current toothpaste with another one, preferably one with a desensitizing agent, and see if the pain stops. You should also avoid toothpaste with menthol and stick to regular fluoride toothpaste.
